Practice Nurse and HCA Cancer Education (afternoon)
3pm, Thursday 24 May 2018
This session focused on ovarian, endometrial and cervical cancers, as well as cervical screening and the upcoming changes to the national programme. A talk was given on prostate cancer incorporating information about the recent Prostate LCS that has been rolled out into Primary Care across NCL. There was also a section on completion of Cancer Care Reviews in Primary Care as well as providing information on Make Every Contact Count (M.E.C.C) programme. There was also information on the qFIT test kit and how to use it.

Cervical screening update and gynaecological topics (afternoon)
3pm, Thursday 24 May 2018
This session covered a cervical screening update and gynaecological topics - vulval disorders/dysparunia/endometriosis with an update on local practice and guidelines. The session also gave practical guidance for cervical sample-takers and cover recent addition of hpv testing as part of screening. There was also data about cervical cancer in the UK, information about colposcopy and planned future advances. In the second half, an update was given on contraception and a session on vulval disease.
