- Register for the Free FAB card: Barnet residents can sign up for a FAB Card to unlock exclusive offers, discounts, and events that support a healthier lifestyle.
- Inclusive and accessible facilities: All leisure centres are Inclusive Fitness Initiative (IFI) accredited, offering accessible equipment in both gyms and pools to ensure everyone can get active comfortably and confidently.
Enjoy more for less with a Free FAB Card
Barnet residents can now access a range of exclusive health and fitness benefits with the free Fit and Active Barnet (FAB) Card, launched by the London Borough of Barnet in partnership with Better leisure centres.
This includes:
- Up to 50% off selected activities at local leisure centres
- Free swimming for children under 8
- £1 swim sessions for children aged 8-11
- Free swimming for carers (including foster carers), looked after children and young people, and those who are care experienced can enjoy free swimming at participating leisure centres.
- Discounts on Barnet Health Walks, helping to stay active in the great outdoors.

Healthwise AWM programme
