First Contact Practitioner Back, Hip and Knee clinic: RFL

The First Contact Practitioner (FCP) back, hip and knee clinic is a service that assesses and manages spine, shoulder, hip and knee pain without the need for a referral from a GP. Patients can self-refer via the practice administration team who can book directly into the clinic on EMIS.
The FCP service covers the whole of Enfield and also PCN's 2 and 7 in Barnet.

- Carlton House
- Enfield MSK Hub- Forest Road Primary Care Centre
- Evergreen Surgery
- Gillan House Surgery
- White Lodge Medical Practice
Barnet clinic locations:
- Brunswick Park Medical Practice
- East Barnet Medical Practice
- Oakleigh Road Clinic
- St Andrew's Medical Practice
- The Torrington Park Group Practice

Eligibility Criteria
Inclusions
- residents with a registered Enfield GP or Barnet GP within PCN 2 and 7
- 18 years and over
- spinal pain with or without radicular pain
- hip and knee pain
- shoulder pain - Barnet only
Exclusions
- residents with a registered Barnet GP outside of PCN 2 and 7
- any patients who are under investigation for any red flags, including urgent suspected cancer
Please note: The FCP back, hip and knee clinic is not a physiotherapy service.
How to Refer
Healthcare professionals and GPs can refer patients via the practice administration team, who can book directly into the clinic on EMIS. No referral forms, online forms or emails are required.
