Female Genital Mutilation: Adult Clinic
NCL WideProvided By
UCLH offers an adult female genital mutilation (FGM) clinic, which offers:
- consultation and reversal procedure clinic
- assessment for pregnant and non-pregnant women
- deinfibulation can be done on the same day as consultation
- advocacy, counselling, psychology
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusions
- women who have undergone female gential mutilation/cut
How to Refer
Healthcare professionals can make referrals by phone (available Monday only)
Non-urgent cases can be referred via email.
Urgent cases can be discussed via phone on Monday, 8am-4pm only or Tuesday- Friday, 9am-5pm, contact Miss Lata Kamble via switchboard.
Self-referral
Women can self-refer to the FGM/C clinic via email.
