Female Genital Mutilation: Adult Clinic
NCL WideProvided By
UCLH offers an adult female genital mutilation (FGM) clinic, which offers:
- consultation and reversal procedure clinic
- assessment for pregnant women beforehand childbirth
- advocacy, counselling, psychology.
Clinic day: Monday, 9am-5pm
Deinfibulation clinic: first Monday of the month, 2-5pm
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusions
- women who have undergone, and are experiencing problems as a result of, gential mutilation
How to Refer
Self-referral
Women can self-refer to the Zahra Midwife Clinic. The midwife clinic will then determine whether you need referral onwards to another service.
