A second-tier paediatric audiology service.

Eligibility Criteria

Inclusions

  • Children aged six months to 18 years
  • or up to 19 years if they are still in education and have developmental problems or a disability
  • Children living in Camden, Haringey or Islington and/or attending school in Camden, Haringey or Islington

Exclusions

  • Children who have failed the newborn hearing screen and need further testing via auditory brainstem response assessments
  • Children who are hearing-aid users or are in need of hearing aids.

Referrals are accepted via the online referral form or the EMIS Paediatric Audiology Referral Form – Whittington.

Please note: The Camden and Islington that is a second-tier service that accepts referrals for children over six months. Referrals for children under six months need to be sent to The Royal National Ears, Nose Throat & Eastman Dental hospital.
