Children's Audiology & Vestibular Medicine (>6m): WH
CamdenHaringeyIslingtonThis service offers paediatric audiology and vestibular assessments for children over six months, providing diagnostic evaluations and management for hearing and balance disorders.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusions
- Children aged six months to 18 years
- or up to 19 years if they are still in education and have developmental problems or a disability
- Children living in Camden, Haringey or Islington and/or attending school in Camden, Haringey or Islington
Exclusions
- Children who have failed the newborn hearing screen and need further testing via auditory brainstem response assessments
- Children who are hearing-aid users or are in need of hearing aids.
How to Refer
Referrals are accepted via the online referral form or the EMIS Paediatric Audiology Referral Form – Whittington.

- For Camden and Islington: whh-tr.childaudiology@nhs.net
- For Haringey out of borough resident: whh-tr.StAnns-Audiology@nhs.net

Please note: The Camden and Islington that is a second-tier service that accepts referrals for children over six months. Referrals for children under six months need to be sent to The Royal National Ears, Nose Throat & Eastman Dental hospital.
