Bright Start offers family support services for children 0-5 and 5-19, ranging from advice and guidance to having an allocated family support practitioner who can assist with more complex family situations.
Families will see the same trained family worker at home or in community locations, in the day or evening.
The offer includes New Parents Groups for parents to enjoy with their babies and to discuss weekly topics led by professionals. It is a great opportunity to meet local parents with children of similar ages. Parent can find out more by contacting their local Bright Start Team.
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusions
- families with a child under the age of 19 who live in Islington or are temporarily housed in another borough.
Exclusions
- Bright Start Family Support has a wide scope but may not be the right service for some families; when it is not the right service, people will be helped to use a more appropriate service.
