Maternal Medicine Network
Specialist Maternal Medicine care is available for all women within NCL with pre-existing medical conditions who are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, as well as those who develop medical complications during their pregnancy.
Direct referrals can be made to any of the maternal medicine teams at all sites across NCL.
Changes to UCLH maternity self referrals
University College London Hospital (UCLH) is taking a proactive approach to ensure that its maternity team can support pregnant women, pregnant people and their babies in the local area, as well as those needing specialist care, by providing the right care and support within the capacity of its existing service.

- Pregnant women (confirmed on a home pregnancy test)
How to Refer

Referral methods: Email
Email the completed Antenatal Maternity Service Referral - NCL form to the relevant hospital.
- University College London Hospital: UCLH.antenatalreferrals@nhs.net
- Whittington Hospital: Whh-tr.maternityreferrals@nhs.net
For the Royal Free Hospital, Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals and North Middlesex University Hospital complete the self-referral: GP maternity referral form.

Patients can self-refer by completing the online form for the hospital of their choice:
