A message from Sarah McIlwaine, Director of Primary Care, NHS North Central London Integrated Care Board

Ahead of the formation of NHS West and North London on 1 April, we would like to assure primary care providers that current ICB team functions and processes will not change at the point of merger or in the immediate period that follows.

GP practices and wider primary care providers are asked to continue using their usual channels of communication until advised differently.

We will continue to update providers and key stakeholders on ICB change and any anticipated impact on their dealings with the ICB. The nationally mandated reduction in ICB running costs may result in future changes to ICB teams, processes and ways of working, but this will be communicated directly to providers as needed.
