Talking Therapy service for autistic adults in Barnet ends on 30 June

Barnet

Please note that the pilot Talking Therapy for Autistic Adults in Barnet service will come to an end on Tuesday 30 June, and therefore new referrals will no longer be accepted.

If you have recently referred a client to the service, they will be contacted to update them on the service closure.

For clients who have already been accepted for therapy, the service will honour its commitment to provide support with the caveat that the number of sessions will be reduced from 16 to 12.

Talking Therapy would be grateful if you could also share this information with the clients you have referred, so they are aware of the situation and understand what to expect.

To explore alternative options, visit the service website for information about other therapy services that may be suitable for the people you are supporting.

If you are looking for support for autistic clients and their families or carers, you can contact the service's partners, Resources for Autism and the Autism Hub at Barnet Mencap.

Talking Therapy is very grateful for the partnerships and collaboration it has built, and for the trust you have placed in it to support your clients.

Contact the service if you have any questions.

Expiry date: Sunday, 17 May 2026
