RFL update: Death notifications emailed to practices from 1 April

From 1 April, the Royal Free and Barnet Hospital bereavement services will send death notifications to GP practices via email.
 
Notifications will be sent only to GP practices with an NHS.net email address and will be issued on the same day as the certification of medical cause of death or coroner referral. Practices without an NHS email account will continue to receive letters by post.
 
This change aims to provide more timely updates and support for the bereaved.
