Nutricia has changed the packaging of Neocate LCP. From January 2026, the tin size will increase from 400g to a 420g.

Action required

Existing prescriptions for Neocate LCP will need to be updated on EMIS to the new 420g format.

Key features of the change include:

• a new packaging design with a lid colour change (from gold to purple), and a lid sticker containing patient information
• a minor change to the source of one ingredient, docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) , to ensure continuity of supply.

There are no changes to:

• the price
• clinical indications
• dietary suitability
• scoop weights 
• preparation instructions
• standard concentration.
