An update has been made to how maternity letters from the Royal Free London are labelled on the London Care Record.

Previously, maternity documents were labelled as “Maternity Patient Viewable Document” and displayed in the clinical correspondence widget.

Going forward, maternity documents dated after 20 October, will be labelled more appropriately.

These documents include:

• Maternity booking sssessment
• Maternity PCSP & COC
• Birth plan
• Homebirth assessment

This change does not apply to documents dated prior to 20 October. These will still be labelled as “Maternity Patient Viewable Document”.
