North central London residents who take up an invitation for an NHS Targeted Lung Health Check can now have the check and CT scan at the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) in The Mall Wood Green.

This is a third location, in addition to University College Hospital and Finchley Memorial Hospital.

The service began at the CDC in October 2024 and NCL Cancer Alliance reports that it is running well. It is hoped that this will give local people a more convenient appointment venue and will encourage participation. On street advertising for targeted lung health checks will also feature in Wood Green from this week.
