London Ambulance Service launches programme to identify frequent users under 18

NCL Wide

The London Ambulance Service (LAS) launched the Child Frequent Callers programme on Monday 3 November, designed to identify under-18s who have frequent contact with their service.

The primary function of this process is safeguarding and improving outcomes for children. LAS will share relevant information with GPs, other health and social care professionals involved in the child’s care in addition to any potential risk to the child.

An information poster (PDF) and referral pathway (PDF) have been developed by LAS. To learn more about the referral process or share any feedback, contact londamb.childhighintensityuser@nhs.net
