The updated NCL recommendations for diabetes blood glucose and ketone meters, testing strips and lancets are now available. 

The meter choices are aligned across primary, community and secondary services after extensive consultation.

GP practices are encouraged to start new patients on preferred meter choices. Manufacturers will supply free meters and training to practice and diabetes services.
