Following the publication of the Infected Blood Inquiry report (May 2024) practices are still getting patient queries about infections. Although, it is likely that the majority of those directly affected have been identified, there may be some who have not been, in particularly those with Hepatitis C. 

Testing should be offered to anyone who is concerned and to anyone who had a blood transfusion before 1996. Practices can signpost patients to a test-at-home portal for Hepatitis C.
