Help promote Self-Care Medicines Scheme to provide certain free medicines to low income residents

NCL Wide

To help people on a low income manage minor illnesses, participating pharmacies are offering certain free medicines for a range of common conditions.

Treating minor illnesses early could help people get better quickly and avoid a visit to their GP.

A wide range of common conditions are covered including constipation, diarrhoea, earache, head lice, indigestion, hay fever, allergic rhinitis, allergies, vaginal thrush, nappy rash, teething and more.

A public campaign will raise awareness of this offer in February and March.

Social media assets, posters, digital screen slides are all available to download, alongside draft texts for use in your newsletters and on your website.

Help spread the word by:

  • displaying information on your waiting room screen
  • sharing information on your practice website
  • highlighting the service to relevant patients.

For more information and to find your nearest participating pharmacy visit the London Winter Wellness campaign pages.
