NCL ICB has recently been made aware of a change in the way HbA1C results were being communicated to Barnet practices. This meant that practices were unable to compare recent and previous results, and EMIS was unable to pick up the recent results. This had a potential impact on QOF.

The lab has apologised for the error and reverted the results to the previous practice.  

Practices will be resent all HbA1C results from 1 October 2024. Practices should be aware that this may result in a small number of duplicate results.
