Eating and Passover: A guide for professionals

NCL Wide

Passover (a important 8-day-long Jewish holiday) can be a fraught and complex time for anyone struggling with an eating disorder or are in recovery.

This guide created by Noa’s Eating Disorder team explains what Passover is and why it is such a complex time  for someone with an ED or who has recovered from an ED.

It provides information about being able to consult a Rabbi about leniency and  practical ideas about how people can be supported pre and post fast meals.

If you have Jewish patients in your care this guide will be useful to you and your team.

If your require any further support please contact the Eating Disorder Service.
