Weekly IPC webinars and drop-in sessions

NEL CSU IPC Team has been supporting primary care GP practices across the 32 boroughs in London during the COVID-19 outbreak in the following ways.

Webinars

Webinars to provide IPC training, advice, and support to all staff working in GP surgeries and healthcare centres. Webinars will be booked via Eventbrite.  

Drop-in sessions

Virtual drop-in advice sessions for 1-1 with the option to submit questions beforehand. 

These sessions for IPC advice and interpretation of guidance is suitable for colleagues working in primary care settings in London, including:  

  • dentistry 
  • GP surgeries and healthcare centres  
  • optometry 
  • pharmacy

It is not necessary to stay for the whole session, and you can book until ten minutes before the session ends. If possible please send your question beforehand, so we can organise the session. The email address is nelcsu.ipcteam@nhs.net. This is also our 'hot desk' for urgent issues. We are a team of NHS clinical staff with significant experience in both caring and IPC in various settings. We look forward to meeting you. 

The NEL CSU IPC Team also offers:

  • Hot desk support, all urgent queries should be sent to our generic mailbox at: nelcsu.ipcteam@nhs.net, which will be addressed by members of the team in a timely manner.
  • A weekly update on national changes to IPC, which is sent to the generic COVID-19 mailboxes of the five STP areas for onward dissemination with local primary care teams and published on the NCL COVID-19 website.
