Understanding the Roles within Multi-Professional Health Teams and Supervision

Barnet Training Hub is running a series of lunch-and-learn sessions for supervisors/trainers/mentors/facilitators/coordinators of clinical and non-clinical staff.


Sessions

Session One (afternoon)

2pm, Friday 12 May 2023

Session one will cover:

  • the different roles in primary care (e.g., ARRS roles)
  • different pre-registration requirements
  • training roadmaps 
  • post-qualification competencies and assessments
  • the benefits of interprofessional supervision
  • preparatory work for the second session.

 

Session Two (afternoon)

2.30pm, Tuesday 13 June 2023

Session two will explore inter-professional supervision in more detail, and will cover:

  • identity as a supervisor
  • what makes a good supervisor
  • how to develop a collaborative supervisory relationship with the learner.
