This course provides an in depth understanding about the different types of dementia.

It is suitable for healthcare professionals and will provide advice and examples for practice staff to provide the best help and support.

The course also talks about prevention strategies to try and stop and prevent Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) from the latest peer reviewed papers. 

Participants are required to attend any of the dates below:

• Tuesday 11 June: 12.30-1.30pm 
• Monday 24 June: 1-2pm

Once you have completed the training, you will recieve:

• key information
• certificate of accreditation as a Dementia Champion
• 1 CPD point
