Training: Practical, experiential infection prevention and control for all NCL practices

This practical training will demonstrate how you can set up infection prevention and control procedures in your practice to protect you, your team and your patients over the next year and beyond.

Spaces available for two members of each practice – ideally a GP and a practice nurse.

Training consists of two morning or afternoon sessions (2.5 hours each) one week apart.

  • Can we trust the PPE that we have?
  • Are we confident we will use PPE correctly?
  • How do you clean a BP cuff?
  • How can we get patient flow and infection control right in our practice?
  • How do we manage cleaning between patients?
  • What are the risks and challenges to infection control that we might face – and how should we respond to them?

A set of responses to frequently asked questions is also available.
