NCL CCGs have organised a webinar to train and support practices on using Sonar.

If a patient is vaccinated in a community pharmacy, it is important this information is accessed from Sonar and uploaded onto your GP EMIS system. This ensures accurate reporting of uptake and allows practices to target unvaccinated patients.

Practices should upload data weekly from Sonar to ensure community pharmacy vaccinated patients are included in the uptake rates reported weekly via ImmForm

Sonar have produced a guide for GPs on how to manage flu vaccination services. Some of the topics covered are:

• Direct access to Sonar patients being vaccinated in Pharmacy
• Review full vaccination information when logged in directly into Sonar
• Review daily consultation insights
• Export and download consultations data in several formats that integrate with your in-house software

This session is relevant for practice managers and staff who are involved in accessing and uploading immunisation data.
