Sexual Health in Practice Training for Practice Nurses/Nurse Associates
This free Sexual Health in Practice (SHIP) training is interactive, practical & peer-led training in sexual health, appropriate for practice nurses and nurse associates; not just for those with a particular interest.
SHIP training has been shown to change clinical practice and improve sexual health outcomes for patients. The session content is based on the latest available evidence and is tailored to your role in general practice. Each session provides you with up-to-date resources to take back to your practice to support your consultations. We will help you become confident in sexual health risk assessment and make meaningful changes to your clinical practice!
- Session 1a on Day 1, 10 February: STI Update for PNs and NAs
- Session 1b on Day 1, 10 February: Talking with patients about sex
- Session 2 on Day 2, 24 March: HIV and viral hepatitis update
