RCN Autumn of Learning – Contemporary Issues in Nursing

The inner and outer North West London branches of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) will be hosting this joint Autumn of Learning event.

Autumn of Learning is a series of free, educational events in which members can learn new skills, deepen their understanding about issues affecting nursing and the health service as well as being an opportunity to share knowledge with other RCN members.

The day’s theme is contemporary issues in nursing. It will focus on nursing research, ethical issues in the withdrawal of life support, alcohol abuse and mental health as well as acute liver failure and safe staffing. 

Parking is available on hospital site – fees apply. Northwick Park Station on the Metropolitan Line is the nearest tube. Accessible ramps are at the back of the building and there are lifts in the building. 

Lunch and refreshments will be provided – places are limited. Certificate of Attendance will be available.
