Mrs B's Frailty Journey: Frailty, Advance Care Planning, End-of-Life Care

The event is only for nurses working in primary care settings in NCL.

The award-winning frailty journey follows Mrs B, a fictitious patient, from the start of her frailty journey to the end of her life.

Delivered by clinicians across geriatric medicine, palliative care medicine, and general practice.

The event will explore how decisions are made as Mrs B becomes more frail and what options are available.

The session will cover:

  • what is frailty
  • how to measure frailty using the Clinical Frailty Scale (CFS)
  • frailty syndromes
  • managing frailty in the community
  • advance care planning (CMC)
  • end of life care
  • time for questions.
