NHS England is organising a learning event to equip general practices for 2018/19 flu season. 

By attending this learning event practices will:

• protect the health of patients
• deliver the flu vaccination programme more effectively
• contribute to reducing pressures during the winter on the NHS as a whole e.g. through reduced A&E visits, reduced unplanned hospital admissions and reduced demand on appointments for influenza-like illness
• be able to better plan for the 18/19 flu season e.g. better understanding of Sonar, Immform and payments system
• demonstrate they are updating their skills and knowledge on vaccinations
