Leg Ulcer Management Training

This two-part training course will include an online theory session, followed by a face-to-face practical session.

The theory session will cover:

  • anatomy and physiology
  • the theory of leg ulcers
  • compression theory.

The practical session will cover:

  • compression bandage application
  • hosiery measurement
  • doppler assessment and measurement of the Ankle Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI).

The practical session can either be attended in the morning or afternoon, depending on availability.

Covering compression bandage application, hosiery measurement, doppler assessment and measurement of the Ankle Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI).
