Inviting All Primary Care Staff: Camden's Alcohol Strategy Development Workshop

In the absence of a current national alcohol strategy, there is need for a local Camden strategy to provide a coherent direction around alcohol prevention, early identification of harmful drinking, treatment, and recovery services.

Camden Health and Wellbeing is hosting a vision setting face to face event, inviting all primary care staff (including GPs, practice nurses, social prescribers and others) to take part.

This workshop will bring together a range of stakeholders including those with lived experience of accessing services, healthcare professionals, service providers, commissioners, and experts in the field. Keynote speeches from experts such as Professor Sir Ian Gilmore (Alcohol Health Alliance) will take place.

Email Hannah Davies, Specialty Public Health Registrar, Hannah.davies@camden.gov.uk, if you are interested in attending the workshop or have any queries.
