In collaboration with gynaecology consultants, NCL ICB has identified that the most common queries that consultants receive where they are able to provide advice and prevent unnecessary referrals to secondary care are about heavy bleeding (pre and post menopause), hormone replacement therapy (HRT) medicine management for post-menopausal women, benign ovarian cysts, and contraception.

As part of the NCL demand management strategy, the ICB is working with gynaecology consultants to deliver focused teaching sessions on these topics over next few months.

This first teaching session will cover HRT medicine management for post-menopausal women. The session will be as interactive as possible, so attendees are encouraged to send over any questions/clinical cases you would like to discuss in advance.

The session will take place via MS Teams.
