Hidden figures – Talking about money in difficult circumstances, for all NHS staff

Join this series of interactive learning conversations on managing your money, where experts from the Money Advice Service and partners, will take you through a range of topics to help you get on top of your finances.

Throughout our lives, we will have lots of money conversations with different people and some will be difficult. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the economy in different ways, which has seen changes in the mental health of our population, a rise in online gambling and increased domestic abuse – some of which are our NHS staff.

This interactive learning conversation will help you develop your own understanding and take action on issues that can cause financial difficulties – dealing with a life event such as a sudden bereavement, discovering hidden debts and habits, coping with money anxiety and sadly dealing with financial abuse. So figuring out what you want to say, how to support colleagues effectively now and where you can turn to for help and support. Maybe identify the one thing that helps you or your colleagues take positive steps forward in what can be a very personal and challenging time.
