This workshop will look at supporting practice managers to make the most of their team and to broaden their workforce in order to reduce demand for GP time and connect the patient directly with the most appropriate professional. By developing a specialist team of facilitators to support service redesign and continuous quality improvement they can give their teams the opportunity to support people to play a greater role in their own health and care with methods of signposting patients to sources of information, advice and support in the community as identified in earlier sessions.

These last two sessions will look at bringing the knowledge gained throughout the programme into workable solutions to enable staff with the tools that they need to communicate the necessity to take a role in their own self-care.
