GPs Update: Liver Disease and Hepatitis Programme

The Liver Disease and Hepatitis programme by Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO) project at King's College Hospital. This programme is a GP and consultant led created for GPs and primary care health professionals. It is designed to improve the understanding and management of liver disease and hepatitis within primary care, highlighting when to escalate cases to secondary and tertiary care to secure the best possible patient outcomes.

Each session will take place online via Zoom, Wednesday, 13:00-13:45pm and will run from 5 June to 10 July. Each session is a blend of education, case studies, and discussions.

All materials will be available on the ECHO website through the futureNHS page.

The programme includes:

  • Expert-Led Sessions: From interpreting LFTs to tackling Hepatitis C, our GPs update: Liver Disease and Hepatitis ECHO Programme covers the essentials and beyond, led by the GP Champions and supported by King’s College Hospital liver consultants and pharmacists.
