GPN London Race Workforce Listening Sessions

There will be a series of listening sessions for the General Practice Nursing (GPN) BAME network and London Workforce race strategy for nursing and midwifery. These sessions are focused on listening to the experiences of healthcare professionals working in primary care from black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) backgrounds within London. The aim of these sessions is to inform the development of bespoke staff support services and improve access to mentorship and training.

Although all events will be held virtually, there will be safe spaces to elicit your views, needs, and concerns. An important part of the process is to listen to general practice nurses (GPNs), nursing associates (NA), and healthcare assistants (HCAs) in primary care. These sessions aim to understand the barriers and how successful and sustainable changes can be made and will help to ensure that BAME staff voices are heard and represented to create a supportive, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all current and future staff.

You can join the sessions via MS Teams.
