Event for Staff who Support Student Nurses on Placements on New NMC Standards

The day will provide information on the following:

  • New Standards for Student Supervision and Assessment (SSSA)
  • Preparation for roles of Practice Supervisors, Practice Assessors and Academic Assessor
  • Information on changes to nursing curriculum from September 2019
  • An overview of Practice Assessment Document and proficiencies for registration.

There will be an oportinuty for networking and sharing experiences with other colleagues from partner NHS Trusts and independent sector organisations as well as Middlesex University academic staff.

The event is free to attend and will meet the requirements for your annual mentor update. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. Free parking available on site (parking permit will be emailed closer to the day).
