This introductory webinar is for healthcare professionals new to asthma in practice. This includes nurses, nursing associates, and allied health professionals (AHPs) working in primary care settings in north central London.

• the difference between a normal airway and an asthma airway
• the symptoms associated with asthma
• diagnosis: how to take good history and what makes asthma more and less likely
• the goals of asthma management
• assessing and managing asthma: the treatment pathway
• inhaler technique & adherence
• the asthma guidelines.

Throughout the webinar you will be able to contribute and ask questions using the ‘chat feature’ or your microphone.  A webcam would also be beneficial where possible.
