COVID-19 – Assessing the risks

This session aims to:

  • explore and share how risks to staff are being assessed during the Covid-19 pandemic
  • understand how best to undertake risk assessments in a way to engage and support staff in primary care
  • consider what GP partners, employers and practice managers can do for their workforce by:
    • amplifying and valuing their voice
    • building a trustworthy working environment
    • increasing a sense of belonging

Dr Nikita Kanani – MBE, GP, Medical Director for Primary Care, NHS England and NHS Improvement
Abdul Razaq – Interim Consultant in Public Health, Lancashire County Council and study author of the Risk Reduction Framework for NHS staff at risk of Covid-19 infection
Janine La Rosa – Head of Equality and Inclusion –NHS England and Improvement Workforce London Region
Marcus Riddell – Head of Equality and Inclusion, Evidence and Policy and Protection of BAME Staff Lead, Covid-19 Workforce cell, NHS England and NHS Improvement

We encourage you to submit questions by midday Tuesday 7 July with the subject title ‘Webinar.’ This will help us define themes and answer queries in an equitable manner. Questions will be managed with due regard to anonymity and in line with information governance principles.
