The LCS for Homeless Adults aims to improve access, reduce inequalities, and provide flexible person-centred healthcare arrangements that meet the primary health needs of the vulnerable homeless population in Camden.
This is a mandatory event for the Homeless Lead Clinician to attend.
Please be advised that practices are to discuss lesson learned and impact of the homeless educational event with their practice members and to submit the action plan afterwards

This training will help staff understand the aims of The AIS and enable them to deliver these aims by meeting the 5 main stages of the standard.
AIS Aims
• To ensure all patients and service users (and where appropriate carers and parents) who have information or communication needs relating to a disability, impairment or sensory loss receives information they can access and understand and professional communication support if they need it.
• To ensure that all patients and service users (and where appropriate carers and parents) who have information or communication needs relating to a disability, impairment or sensory loss is not disadvantaged when accessing or receiving care.
In this session we hope to have service users share their experiences with us.

The aim of End of Life Care LCS is to ensure that patients are treated in the most appropriate environment for their needs, which evidence suggests is their home; the second objective is to reduce the number of avoidable hospital admissions for patients nearing the end of life and thus reducing secondary care spend.
This is a mandatory event for the EoLC Lead Clinician to attend.

The first part of the afternoon will be the fire safety update training and the second part will launch the Receptionists Continuing Professional Development Programme and the Competency Standard/Advanced Booklets. This is a programme designed to enhance and embed the professional development of non-clinical staff, bringing non-clinicians into line with clinical staff.
It is intended to be the starting point for staff to create their own ‘portfolio’, to refer to when looking at gaps in their skills and to show prospective employers as evidence of learning and experience.
