NICE recently published new guidelines Asthma: diagnosis, monitoring and chronic asthma management. Two webinars specifically for primary care clinicians will be held by the London Respiratory Clinical Network to introduce the new guidelines and provide information about implementing them.

These new guidelines were a collaboration of BTS, NICE, and SIGN, and jointly published by all three organisations and aims to improve the accuracy of diagnosis to help adults, children and young people to control their asthma and reduce the risk of asthma attacks. It does not cover managing severe asthma or acute asthma attacks.
