Black Health Improvement Programme

The Black Health Improvement Programme (BHIP) is a culturally appropriate education, training and support package designed for primary care staff and other healthcare professionals in Enfield.

The programme aims to provide GP Practices in Enfield with an opportunity to better engage with their Black community by understanding their culture and religious beliefs. It also raises awareness of several important aspects to consider when engaging with people from the Caribbean and African community.

Delivered by the Caribbean & African Health Network (CAHN), the programme is free to Primary Care staff and is commissioned by the North Central London Integrated care Board.
