Best Clinical Practice for Faecal Immunochemical Test

The NCL Cancer Alliance is holding a webinar for clinical staff on the use of the Faecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) from 1-2pm on Friday 15 November.

This webinar is aimed at supporting clinicians to make the best use of the FIT diagnostic test on the lower GI referral pathway, ensuring that NG12 guidance is being followed to support improved patient outcomes, and that your practice is awarded correctly for your work. 

The following points will be covered:

  • Tips and support for clinicians, including resources and advice on common issues
  • Ways to support patients with FIT test returns
  • Tips and support to share with admin staff

The event is aimed at any clinicians involved in lower GI referrals and using FIT tests, including but not limited to:

  • GPs
  • Allied Health Professionals
  • Physician Associates
  • Advanced Nurse Practitioners
  • Practice Managers
