The Minor Surgery Directed Enhanced Service (DES) supports the provision of invasive minor surgery and injection procedures in GP surgeries. GP providers may register their interest in providing this DES for both their existing registered practice population and to other practices' registered populations.

Please note that cryotherapy is not covered by this DES and patients should not be referred for this. Most practices in Camden have signed up to deliver cryotherapy in their core services with NHS England. For those who do not provide this service, it can only be accessed in secondary care for patients who meet the threshold.
