NCL Training Hub is excited to be offering two half-day training sessions on the delivery and interpretation of spirometry testing for 30 healthcare professionals (HCPs) from across NCL with previous experience in spirometry.

This breaks down to six HCPs from each borough. 

The aim of the training is to review theory, build confidence in delivering spirometry (including cleaning and equipment maintenance), obtain accurate lung function tests, and interpreting measurements. 

Training will include funding for ARTP Spirometry Assessment Certification.

There are just four spaces left for Islington colleagues from North 1, North 2 or South PCNs - please register via the Eventbrite link.

Training pre-requisites:

• individuals must have some previous experience of delivering spirometry testing and interpretation
• the training is only for HCPs based in North 1, North 2 or South PCNs in Islington
  • the training is not for Central 1 or Central 2 PCNs at this time; this is due to where the initial Spirometry hublets are set to be located
• the general practice must have access to a spirometer (or is intending to acquire one).
