Spaces available for Safe & Together™ overview training

Barnet

The Safe & Together™ overview training session, offered by Barnet council will help participants understand how a domestic abuse informed approach can enhance practice. It places the child at the centre, focuses on patterns of perpetrator behaviour and looks at ways to partner with survivors.

The training will be useful to anyone in the borough who comes into contact with families affected by domestic abuse.

The online training comprises two half-day sessions from 1pm to 4pm on Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 June. Attendance on both days is required.

This training provides participants with an introduction to, and overview of, the Safe & Together™ Model. It covers, information about creating the domestic violence-informed child-welfare system, the principles and components of the Safe & Together™ Model and the framework behind competency-building in child welfare around domestic violence.

Training objectives
