The MoreLife weight management service will stop accepting new referrals in Islington on 14 September 2026.

Referrals can be made until this date. 

From 14 September, GPs and practice teams are encouraged to review alternative weight management pathways outlined in the updated Islington weight management clinical directory. 

Please consider the NHS Digital Weight Management Programme for eligible residents who can access digital support. This option provides structured, remote weight management support in a similar way to the MoreLife programme. Evidence has shown that the NHS digital weight management programme can help people achieve clinically significant weight loss similar to results seen in face-to-face services.
