Find out about e-RS changes supporting the NHS single point of access model for elective care

NCL Wide

NHS England is hosting a series of webinars to support organisations in preparing for the implementation of the elective Single Point of Access (SPoA) model and associated changes planned for the NHS e-Referral Service (e-RS).

The webinars will provide an overview of how e-RS functionality will support SPoA; demonstrate the developing e-RS features and outline key considerations for provider organisations as they prepare for the changes they need to make to e-RS to support their SPoA pathways from October 2026 onwards.

These sessions are intended to raise awareness and provide an opportunity to ask questions and inform local readiness ahead of implementation. Each 60-minute webinar will be limited to 50 attendees. Further national communications will be issued in due course to support system readiness for the e-RS changes required to enable SPoA delivery from October 2026 onwards.

There are sessions specifically for NHS acute trusts and general sessions for primary care and other providers. Please only book onto one of the sessions that are relevant to your organisation.
