This training course from Health Education England is offered online via the FutureLearn platform and contributes towards the achievement of Level 3 Safeguarding competencies, as set out in Safeguarding for Adults: Roles and Competencies.

Topics covered:

• taking part, and contributing to, wider multi-disciplinary safeguarding meetings
• the challenges of complex safeguarding concerns
• how communication, information sharing and confidentiality contribute to effective safeguarding
• professional and contemporaneous safeguarding documentation
• reflective practice and the role of supervision in safeguarding

This course will run multiple times. Every run of a course has a set start date but you can join it and work through it after it starts. The course is for a duration of 3 weeks with 1 hour study per week. Other start dates are:
