In this practical, evidence-based session, Dr Alan Fayaz, consultant in pain management, will explore modern approaches to pain management, covering pain mechanisms, assessment, multidisciplinary care, opioid stewardship, neuropathic pain, chronic primary pain and the emerging evidence for medical cannabis.

Focused on real-world clinical practice, the session will equip GPs with practical strategies to manage complex pain presentations and deliver more effective, person-centred care.
