Eligibility criteria


  • patients registered with a GP in Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington


  • patients who require sign language support or BSL

How to refer

Directly by telephone

Telephone interpreting

On-demand service, no need to book.

This service can be used when a patient is with you, or if you need to make an out-going call to a patient.

Contact the service provider by telephone. You will need to give your access code, practice name and required language. (Download the how to guide for further help.)

Directly by email

Written translations


Please email the document(s) you need translated. State the language and format required. You will be provided with a timescale and quotation within 48 hours. You will need to email your acceptance before the work will be carried out.

Via a website

Face-to-face interpreting


Book online, using the following steps:

  • login using the username, password and access code provided by your practice manager
  • click on ‘make a new booking’ and enter the details (complete all fields marked with asterix)
